We here at Buzzwave believe in innovation, security, and privacy. It is time that we announce the end of the Summer Season for Buzzwave. Looking back at our summer season, we are proud of what we managed to accomplish from our Summer Season (Summer Roadmap)

Summer Season

The Summer Season lasted from June 1st and ended on August 31st. Just in the span of 3 months, we have managed to accomplish a lot in terms of features.

Posts Sharing

You can now share individual posts by clicking that Share button below each post. You will be able to see that individual post. With this individual post page, we will also integrate our replies and collection feature. (June 7th)

Manage Account

The Manage Account page is back, you can now see numerous sections: Information, Privacy, Security, Notifications, Subscriptions, Parental Controls, and Reports.

We will integrate more features and pages later on as the future seasons progress. (June 8th)

Reporting

You can now report other users, you will be able to see the status of individual reports in your Manage Account page, where you can attach evidence and communincate with actual moderators of the site. (June 9th)

Blog Replies & Actions

Did you notice something? Look down, there are likes/dislikes, and you can reply to this blog post. You could also Report blog posts, but who would want to do that? Unless there is a grammar mistake lol. (June 10th)

Inbox Page

You can now view your inbox, of course it may be empty for some users. As we work towards incorporating this feature into our Generation 4 profile page and integrate more features to provide a more efficent way to communincate. (August 4th)

Friends Page

There is an individual page where you can view who you're friends with, you can also see individual categories, such as: Friends, Work, School, Family, and you can even add your own custom lists. You will also see upcoming birthdays and friend requests here. (August 4th)

New Homepage!

There was also a massive overhaul to our homepage, which had previously been utilized on Skycers in its Generation 3 design. (August 4th)

Search Results

Now instead of searching for just users, you can now also search Groups and Posts. (August 12th)

Groups

Groups are brought back from Skycers, well kind of. As of now, you can only view group pages, and see group members and their roles. (August 13th)

Profile Pictures

There has been one feature missing that was waiting a long time to be implemented, the ability to change your profile picture. It has finally been implemented on August 19th, you can now change your Profile Picture with a PNG/JPG file, make sure your file extenstion is in lowercase or it won't work.

Poison & IP Bans

Now in extreme cases, we may need to issue moderation actions that restrict someone's ability to login / register, or even restrict their access to the site entirely. (August 22nd)

Login Errors

You will no longer be redirected to a page when you enter an incorrect username and/or password. You will now see an error message above the login form. (August 23rd)

Verify Now!

You will no longer be required to login upon registering a new account, you will be redirected to the verify page instead. (August 27th)

Fall Roadmap

Expect the Buzzwave Team to reveal our Fall Roadmap on September 3rd.
