We here at Buzzwave believe Safety is one of our top priorities. In the light of recent events involving the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10th of 2025. Just minutes after President Trump announced that Charlie Kirk had passed, we decided to add Charlie Kirk to the blacklist of names, but not because of his own activism, more of to prevent users from registering his name in ways to spread hate or to mention that he deserved what happened to him.

We deserve to live in a world where you don't have to live in fear or hate. Our platform doesn't want individuals to express hate or activism for political violence. Charlie Kirk didn't deserve what happened at Utah Valley University.

This is a turning point in our direction here at Buzzwave. The decision is final, we will no longer be allowing for political violence discussion to be discussed here on Buzzwave.

Our users are still able to post on the topic of political discussion, and we in fact encourage our users to express themselves freely. Though, we believe it is best for everyone to be safe from spreading vulgar, discriminatory, or harmful content.
